Celebrate the 4th with me!

I am the Spotlight Designer for July at Gotta Pixel! If you can make it, please join me in their chatroom at 11:00am Eastern. Please download the mini crop kit ahead of time, as it will be removed an hour before the crop. We are going to do a scraplift of one of my layouts, chat it up & have lots of fun. We will be giving away 4 of my featured kits! Also, if you participate in the scraplift, you get a posting bonus from me. :) Here is the link with the download instructions and other important info: http://www.gottapixel.net/forum/showthread.php?t=3652

Alright, shameless plug time! ;) Here are previews of the patriotic kits in my American Tradition series, available at Scrap Outside the Box and Digital Freebies.

Oh, woe is me!!

What a week this has been! First, I shed tears of joy at my DS's Kindergarten graduation on Thursday. He looked so sweet and grown up in his little cap. :) He received 2 awards in Reading and another in Language Arts. I am so proud!

A week from today, I will be driving my little ones to meet my in-laws halfway. (We live in NC, they live in PA) My "babies" will be there for a whole week! I am having very mixed emotions with this. I have NEVER been away from them for more than a few hours. I am having major separation anxiety. I am also looking forward to spending some time alone with the hubby, as we have never left the kids with a babysitter. This will be the first time we will be able to go to dinner, a movie, or whatever in six years!!! Man we need this time together! Still, I can't help but feel like I am abandoning my kids. I know they are in good hands with my mother-in-law, I'm just a worry wart. :)

Today I returned home from grocery shopping only to find my upright freezer had bitten the dust. I opened it and found popsicle juice all over everything. Everything in it was totally ruined. Yuck! I am so miffed. Hopefully the home owner's policy will cover something. Keep your fingers crossed. ;)

Creative Team

Boy, am I lucky! I may be a bit biased, but the gals on my creative team rock! Just look what a few of them created with my new kit.
I have 5 very talented ladies on board right now and I would just like to thank them for sticking with me, sharing their talents, and most of all being a part of my life. I will probably never actually get to meet these gals, but they do mean a lot to me. I guess I should introduce them, huh? LOL I am so lucky to have bthiels, digi-scrapper, esmom98, jas7797 and libracorn to join me in my digiscrapping adventure. :)

Sophisticated

Brand new - Sophisticated! I really liked this color scheme & went a little overboard with it. I just couldn't stop making embellishments and paper for this one. LOL It includes 22 papers and oodles of elements. One of my creative team members asked for doodles to coordinate with the kit, so I did my 1st set! Thank you for the inspiration, Jennifer! :) You can grab this kit at Digital Freebies and SOTB. Best of all, it's on sale at 40% off until Monday! Actually, all 3 products in this series are. You can choose from just the paper pack, the doodle set, or the full kit (w/o doodles).
