Holiday Stress
Well, we didn't get to travel to either set of parents' houses this year. :( My hubby (bless his heart) had foot surgery just in time to be laid up through the holidays. This was his first surgery, so he was really dreading it. He is doing great though. Well, except for being bored. LOL We are driving each other absolutely crazy. I do feel for him though. He can't sit at the dinner table with us because he has to keep that silly foot elevated about heart level at all times. So, he eats alone in the living room almost every meal. The kids & I sometimes have a "picnic" in the living room floor so we can include him. Unfortunately, he refuses to let me take ANY pics of him in his "condition". This is so hard to do! My inner scrapper is screaming for just one lousy shot of his bandaged foot. The doctor said yesterday that he can't put any weight on the foot for 30 days, then when that time is up, he will put him on a restriction for 30 more days. Two whole months. We'll see who strangles who first. :)
