I scrapped!

I just had to scrap this photo of my DD. We were sitting at the table eating lunch the other day and when I looked up, she was just sitting there watching me with that angelic look on her face. I just HAD to grab the camera. I used my new Old-Fashioned Valentine kit and the font Aquiline.

Happy Valentine's Day!

A little late, but better late than never! :) I actually got my Valentine's Day kit into the store before the actual holiday! That's a first for me - always a day late and a dollar short. Old-Fashioned Valentine took a little longer than I thought it would. I had a creative block, so to speak. But, here it is:

What were you doing 10 years ago?
Hmmm. Lemme think a minute. I was 21, living on my own, working at Mazzio's Pizza as a waitress for the 5th year in a row, and 13 days away from my wedding. So I guess I was a real basket case about this time 10 years ago. LOL

What were you doing 1 year ago?
1 year ago, I was at home with both of my "babies" watching cartoons, changing diapers, scrapping, cooking/baking and playing board games. I had not yet started designing. That came a month later. :)

Digi scrapping, of course! Then cooking/baking and trying new recipes, watching horror movies, reading suspense (especially Dan Brown), and singing & dancing with the kids to Laurie Berkner's music (I know all the words to these also).

Five things you would never wear, buy or get again:
1. courderoy or leather pants (courderoy - never again, leather - never)
2. cheap paper shredder - I spend more time unclogging it than shredding
3. Freezer Queen frozen family dinners Bleh!
4. Taxes done at H&R Block
5. cheap salsa - taste is everyting in a snack LOL

Goin' Potty!

Yay! My 3 year old is FINALLY ready! Elisabeth has been goin' potty for a week now and I am loving it. :) Wow, I have been changing diapers for almost 6 years straight now. My son, William, was only 2 when Elisabeth arrived and he refused to potty train. He wanted to be a baby too and get all that attention. :) I can't believe that it's almost over. Sniff. Sniff. My babies are growing up. This is a LO I did when I 1st started to introduce her to the potty. She was not too happy in this photo. Boy, almost 2 years have passed since then. How time flies! I used Christi Austin's Country Rose, available at Digital Freebies.
