Reader's Comments

I have been receiving some wonderful comments from fellow scrappers. I have been a bit down lately because my youngest starts Kindergarten on Monday. Both of my sweet "babies" will be off to school soon and I am already missing them. :) These comments have been putting a smile on my face when I need it most.

The most recent comment was from gwacie and she shared a link to a layout she completed with one of my mini kits. This page is simply adorable! :) I totally appreciate every comment or link I get. It really makes my day to know that you enjoy my designs.

I even received a greeting card on Facebook from a friend today because she noticed that I was feeling a bit sad. What a sweet thing to do! I love connecting with other scrappers! We have such a wonderful and caring community. If you ever want to get in touch with me to say "hi" or to "hang out", you can find me at the following:

Hope to "see" you around! :)

I actually scrapped a LO!

I know, I'm just as surprised as you are. LOL I never have time to scrap anymore, but when I can't sleep I have all the time in the world. I can't really post a photo of it because I entered it into the Bigi Digi Contest over at Scrapbook.com, but you can view it and leave me some love if you like here: http://www.scrapbook.com/gallery/?m=image&id=867475

I absolutely fell in love with this kit by Jen Reed! Cinnamon is just gorgeous and inspirational. The layout almost made itself. Well, OK I had a little to do with it, but just a tiny bit. :) Thank you for the inspiration, Jen!

LOs from the CT for Sweet New Kit

My CT has been busy scrapping these past few weeks. They have done TONS from the Family Ties kit that I designed with Michelle Swadling. I was in awe of the variety of subjects that they were able to do with this kit. You can find those layouts HERE.

My latest kit, Sweets 4 My Sweet was a bit more of a challenge since some of them only have boys and this kit is pink through & through. :) I handed out some pics of my daughter to those who had no girls and wow was I ever thrilled! I put together a mini slideshow to give you a peek at what they achieved. Aren't these darling?! :)

You can see more layouts with this set HERE.

There are witches in the air...

I don't know why, but I have the "Five Little Pumpkins" song running through my lil' head.

Five Little Pumpkins
Five little pumpkins sitting on a gate
The first one said, "Oh my it's getting late!"
The second one said, "There are witches in the air."
The third one said, "Well I don't care."
The fourth one said, "Let's run and run and run!"
The fifth one said, "I'm ready for some fun!"
Oooh went the wind and out went the light.
And the five little pumpkins rolled out of sight.

Speaking of witches, my mini kit Witchy Woman is now available at Divine Digital. Check out this adorable page, courtesy of jas7797. Isn't she adorable?

I scrapped! Holy cow!

Yeah, I know. I NEVER scrap anymore. I attended the Celebrity Hostess crop last night at Divine Digital. Kelly Shultz gave out her kit Sweet-n-Sassy and it was so inspiring that I just had to scrap a pic of my DD. I really like the way it turned out. She definitely is Daddy's princess. If you would like to leave me some love, please comment here or at the Divine Digital gallery.

Autumn Elegance is the Digi Pick of the Day!

All I can say is "wow"! Imagine my surprise (and delight) when I headed over to read Melissa G.'s Digi Pick of the Day this morning. I read it everyday, but today was extra special. :) My new release at Divine Digital made today's kit pick! Yay! I am all giggles and smiles right now & my kids are looking at me like I've lost my mind. You can see this kit in the store HERE.

Creative Team

Boy, am I lucky! I may be a bit biased, but the gals on my creative team rock! Just look what a few of them created with my new kit.
I have 5 very talented ladies on board right now and I would just like to thank them for sticking with me, sharing their talents, and most of all being a part of my life. I will probably never actually get to meet these gals, but they do mean a lot to me. I guess I should introduce them, huh? LOL I am so lucky to have bthiels, digi-scrapper, esmom98, jas7797 and libracorn to join me in my digiscrapping adventure. :)

I scrapped!

I just had to scrap this photo of my DD. We were sitting at the table eating lunch the other day and when I looked up, she was just sitting there watching me with that angelic look on her face. I just HAD to grab the camera. I used my new Old-Fashioned Valentine kit and the font Aquiline.

New Layout

I actually got to scrap! Yay! I contribute this small accomplishment to the fact that my DH started back to work today. LOL My DD has been jamming to Laurie Berkner while I scrap to my heart's content. I have missed my computer time so much. I feel like I've neglected my inner scrapper too long. I used my Timeless Vintage Collection for this page.

Better late than never...

Christmas is my absolute favorite holiday. There is just such a feeling of love in the air, not to mention the cold, crisp air, smell of goodies baking and the anticipation of what Christmas morning will bring. Yes I'll admit it, I am a big kid. LOL The best part for me used to be racing to unload my stocking and rip open pretty packages. Now, I love to sit back and watch that same light in my children's eyes. It is simply magic! Now, I may be a bit biased, but I think they are just precious. :)

OK, so I am a little late with my Christmas kit, but it has been hectic around here. :) I started this kit about 2 months ago, but it just didn't get finished. Well, better late than never I always say (or at least quote - who said that anyway?). My friends Beverly and Jennifer did some beautiful LOs with it for me.
I really need to start scrapping more. (Good thing they added that extra second to New Year's, huh?) There never seems to be enough time for the things I like to do. It seems that the kids just keep growing up when I'm not looking. I think I should make a resolution to take more pictures, video more, and just spend more time doing "nothing" with my kids. Sometimes that "nothing" means more than all those little somethings. I think I need to go play trains with my 3 year old now. I hear the whistle calling...

Another new LO!

Yeah! I've been busy. LOL My DD actually let me get some scrapping done yesterday. Here is my latest, "Play.Discover.Learn." This is of my DD playing at the park around the time of her last birthday. Boy, how time flies! I used the totally fab kit All That by Jan Hosford. This kit was awesome! I think I may do 1 or 2 more of my DD with this one. It also has some nice blue & green papers that would work for my son. :)

New LO!

I hardly ever get to scrap anymore, but I had the itch. I titled this "Great-Grandpa Harold". This is my hubby's grandfather Harold who has recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer. We live many miles from my hubby's family (and mine) and this pic was taken this year on our trip to PA. The first time they met Grandpa Harold, they thought he was Santa Claus. :) You can imagine how quickly they warmed up to him then! Sadly, our trips to PA are limited, so this might be the only pic I'll ever have with my 2 darlings and their great-grandfather. :(

This layout was scrapped using Lorraine Yuriar's kit, Spilled Spaghetti at Scrap Outside The Box. I just loved this kit's rich colors and textures. It made the layout so easy!
