Halloween time!

My love for Halloween just grows with me every year instead of fading like it does with some adults. I LOVE horror movies, haunted houses and horror books. Bring on John Grisham, Dean Koontz and Stephen King! :) This holiday is so sensory filled: creepy noises, spooky sights and who could forget the tasty candy? Note: I do NOT eat ALL of my childrens' candy! Just a teensy bit. (after their bed time) Just kidding!

Lets see, my favorite movies that go along with this holiday include "seven", "Scream" and my all time favorite, "The Wizard of Oz". I'm also a sucker for sappy stories, but we won't get into that right now.

I just had to do ONE more Halloween kit. :) The colors and theme kept calling to me, even when I tried to sleep. Don't ask why because I have NO idea. LOL Anywho, here is a preview of it. It hasn't quite hit the stores yet, but I feel better now that I have it completed.

Another new LO!

Yeah! I've been busy. LOL My DD actually let me get some scrapping done yesterday. Here is my latest, "Play.Discover.Learn." This is of my DD playing at the park around the time of her last birthday. Boy, how time flies! I used the totally fab kit All That by Jan Hosford. This kit was awesome! I think I may do 1 or 2 more of my DD with this one. It also has some nice blue & green papers that would work for my son. :)

New LO!

I hardly ever get to scrap anymore, but I had the itch. I titled this "Great-Grandpa Harold". This is my hubby's grandfather Harold who has recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer. We live many miles from my hubby's family (and mine) and this pic was taken this year on our trip to PA. The first time they met Grandpa Harold, they thought he was Santa Claus. :) You can imagine how quickly they warmed up to him then! Sadly, our trips to PA are limited, so this might be the only pic I'll ever have with my 2 darlings and their great-grandfather. :(

This layout was scrapped using Lorraine Yuriar's kit, Spilled Spaghetti at Scrap Outside The Box. I just loved this kit's rich colors and textures. It made the layout so easy!

Accomplishment!

What a great feeling it is to accomplish something. For me, finishing a new kit is the best! OK, so I am totally addicted, hence the name of my blog. LOL My new Halloween kit, Ghoul's Night Out just hit the store this morning. My first holiday kit! WooHoo!

I also joined a webring, Digi Scrap Blogs. You can see the ring navigation at the bottom of my main page. Kinda nervous about "going public" with my thoughts and ramblings, but everyone else is doing it so I will fight my tendency to hide in my shell. That is very hard for me. :)

I really need to scrap something. It has been so long since I had the chance to actually scrap a pic. I did get the fab & funky kit All That by Jan Hosford and it seems to be calling to me from the hard drive. My DD's pics (and personality) will really work well with it. If you haven't seen Jan's kit, you can head over to Digital Freebies and check it out. Well, I'm off to feed the kiddies. Hubby's weird hours right now, so my PC schedule is messed up. When he's home, MY puter is being used to play a silly military game. LOL Kinda funny, he plays soldier all day long and comes home to do the same. Ah, military life. I could start a whole new blog on that subject.

Hubby is beginnning to let up on the nagging about all my PC time. :) I'm going to try to post the previews of my 2 newest kits here. Never done this before, so here goes...
